Using Data to Ensure Equal Opportunities in Health.

Illumen’s work at HHS is to help our federal clients ensure EEODI standards, "Equal Employment Opportunity Data and Insights." This includes the collection, analysis, and reporting of data related to equal employment opportunities across HHS . The goal of EEODI is to identify potential disparities or inequalities in the workplace and to take steps to address and eliminate them, and to help ensure the taxpayer and Congress that advancement of careers is not negatively impacted by race, gender, or other bias.

Data and analytics can be very helpful in supporting EEODI efforts. By collecting and analyzing data on things like employee demographics, hiring and promotion rates, and pay, organizations can identify patterns and trends that may indicate a lack of equal opportunities. This information can then be used to inform decision-making and to develop and implement strategies to promote equality and diversity in the workplace.

EEODI is an important part of promoting a fair and inclusive workplace, and data and analytics can be a powerful tool in supporting those efforts.
