Administrative Assistant

 The Administrative Assistant supports the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). 

 POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administers the intake process for reasonable accommodation, interpretive services and accessibility requests and utilizes the data warehousing system.

  • Interviews individuals to obtain information related to the request. Completes intake forms and

    data collection.

  • Uses regulatory guidelines to explain all programs.

  • Collects, consolidates, and analyzes data, generating general, special and recurring reports.

  • Assembles and prepares various one time and intermittent reports and charts for managers.

  • Serves as the POC responsible for receiving, maintaining, and retrieving data from an automated tracking system.

  • Schedules meetings as needed to support the processing of requests and the fulfillment of services request.

  • Coordinates interactive sessions including scheduling meeting rooms, arranging mediation services and notifying appropriate participants.

  • Serves as a quality control point for the EEODI assuring that packages include necessary briefing materials, accommodation requests, enclosures, and attachment, etc. and determines their adequacy before transmitting to OPDIVs, Equal EmploymentOpportunity Commission (EEOC), Office of Personnel Management, Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB), etc.

  • Accomplishes a variety of o ther processing related to the internal operation of the EEO Office; to include TDY transactions, and employee time and attendance.

  • Tracks and files all office correspondence. Receives and reviews incoming office correspondence, determines required action, establishes suspense dates for action, makes appropriate distribution. Follows up on all suspended actions.

  • Establishes and maintains subject-matter files required for management of the EEO Office.

  • Ensures files are properly labeled according to existing regulations.

DevSecOps Engineer

DESCRIPTION

The Engineer will help the client containerize applications and aid in the design, implementation, and maintenance of multiple DevSecOps pipelines, and will implement CI/CD solutions to support rapid development and integration of tools and solutions.

  • Support and drive the adoption of foundational & repeatable software development & DevSecOps practices.

  • Containerize existing applications with docker

  • Support and improve our tools for continuous integration, automated testing, automation, and release management making the CI/CD pipeline as efficient and effective as possible.

  • Unify the development pipeline, build process, testing and deployment strategies across diverse teams.

  • Knowledge of common attack scenarios and applying security static analysis tools (eg. SonarQube)

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 3+ years of Experience developing CI systems with security best practices.

  • Experience working with Linux/UNIX environments

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • Experience containerizing Java and Drupal applications using Docker

  • Strong understanding of CI and experience with industry-standard solutions, e.g., Jenkins

  • Expert experience with source code version control systems (e.g. Git, SVN)

  • Strong knowledge of DevSecOps concept

  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD concept

Telecom Specialist - NO VACANCIES

Job Description

Accountable for working on a customer engagement utilizing the a telecom lifecycle and expense management solution (TEMS) cloud solution. As a Telecom Specialist, you will focus on helping our federal government customers with telecom data collection, order processing, inventory management, invoice upload and reconciliation, billing audits and disputes, technology upgrades, and contract transitions. Responsibilities will also include working with stakeholders in process definition and improvement, and understanding and documenting business system requirements for telecom ordering approval workflows, security roles, users, reporting, etc. Also included is working on IT application life cycle management covering the following items: managing enhancement/trouble ticketing, development of requirements, User Acceptance Training development and testing, and providing post-implementation software support. Customer engagements cover all aspects of telecom, including wireline, wireless, satellite, equipment, licenses, security, and professional services. A proficiency in wireline is preferred, and experience in the federal telecom and contracting environment is important to being successful in this role and being able to provide value quickly.

Functional Responsibility:

• Participates in daily/weekly upload, validation, and reconciliation of inventory, and electronic invoices

• Responsibility for assisting with optimization and cost reduction recommendations and documentation 

• Addresses Tier 1 Support questions; refers technical issues and new requirements for resolution and tracks to completion

• Coordinates and develops regular reports and response to ad-hoc data calls

• Participates in Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing of all new system enhancements.

Required Skills:

Java Developer - NO VACANCIES

This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply the technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture Design and Development.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

● Participate in all aspects of an Agile based engineering process from planning to retrospective.

● Design, develop, test, debug, maintain, and deploy Java-based web applications

● 5+ years of experience with Spring, Hibernate, RESTful services

● Actively involved in design discussions, POCs, design and implementation.

● Introduce design patterns and best practices as needed

● Write well designed, testable, efficient code and automated tests

● Assist junior developers and suggest good coding practices

Experience Required

● At least 5 years of experience developing java-based web applications in an Agile environment

● Experience developing and managing deployment life cycles using Subversion/GIT and Continuous Integration environments
